• Step 4: We will allocate you a tutor and register you for the course within 72 hours of receiving your completed registration paperwork.
• Step 5:  Full induction with your tutor to discuss your support needs and course study details.
• Step 6:  You’re on the way to getting your next qualification.

We deliver many courses as a distance learning option allowing you, as the customer the flexibility of studying in your own time from wherever is convenient. You are not fixed to college classroom timetables or the typical Wednesday evening. With BBE Training you will still have the benefit of having a dedicated fully qualified tutor who will give you personalised support throughout your course. Often learners request that they have the same tutor and progress further with continued and dedicated 1-2-1 support.

Blended learning is extremely popular amongst our corporate clients as it offers the benefit of utilising various delivery methods to suit the business needs, either operationally, financially or both!

Blended learning often utilises a mix of either classroom and online or distance learning. For example, one of our clients in the airline industry may find it difficult to gather a cohort of delegates for a 3 or 4-day course. What we can do is offer the theory as distance learning or via our online learning portal with the practical element in the classroom. This reduces the time spent out of the operation and allows for a more flexible approach to the delivery.

We also provide the same tutor for the full course duration. Offering the online version of a course to those attending an in-house qualification as an extra gives the delegates the opportunity to refresh or complete any aspects that may not have been done in-house. Flexibility is key to a successful blended learning approach.

We have a purpose-built online learning platform that we have heavily invested in to give the customer a high-quality experience when studying one of our courses. Online is a course where all the components can be studied via a dedicated learning portal. Most of our courses can be delivered in this format. A great way to learn with the ability to complete from anywhere in the world providing you have access to Wifi. We have learners from all over the world including India, South Africa, The Middle East, Continental Europe, and the Falkland Islands.

You may need to download these resources to view them or use a word-processing tool such as Word for assessments. It is strongly recommended that you have a current version Microsoft Office installed on your machine.

As well as the online and distance learning options, we frequently deliver classroom courses for a whole range of clients. There are many benefits of delivering to a group in a classroom when blended or distance learning is not an option. We regularly deliver training courses either in-house or at one of our UK nationwide centres.

If you record your own session you need to ensure that you meet the quality criteria as required by the awarding body.

The qualification specification states that you need to ensure that you deliver to a minimum of 3 learners aged 16 years or above. This can be done by having learners where you are delivering and recording the session or by delivering to learners via Microsoft Teams, Skype or Zoom .

The BBE Training E-Learning portal is a web-based learning platform that we have invested in to give our learners the best possible experience. It is a fantastic tool allowing learners to simply follow assignments and work through their coursework.

Learners can complete and upload or download and complete offline before uploading to their login area.  All work is marked and assessed from within the learning platform with functions allowing tutors and learners to automatically make notifications to each other when a process has been completed such as an assignment has been uploaded ready for marking or when it has been marked. It stores all communication centrally and is the system that allows learners to be able to work on any device by downloading the App.

Our system operates a customised branded Moodle system and you can find the app here: https://download.moodle.org/mobile/ Simply purchase your course then download to your device and login into your course, using your BBE login details that you will be provided with.

If you are looking to book a group of delegates on to a course, please ensure that you contact us to discuss first as we can usually offer a choice of options to help you get the best from the course and for the business.

For group bookings, we can often deliver at your premises or offer you one of our centres for a dedicated delivery. This can also be a blended option depending on which course you choose to book.

“Effective practice demands that the majority of observations are conducted “live” so that the observer can make rounded judgments not just about delivery but also on learners’ responses and outcomes and how the dynamics of teaching and learning evolve. Those training providers that use remote observation for assessment purposes should note that a balance of in-person and remote observation is recommended, and only then if the Awarding Organisation is satisfied that the remote observation is robust. Remote observation can be helpful when it is utilised as a part of a professional discussion, but the sole use of remote observation techniques involving video or digital recording does not provide sufficient scope and should be avoided.”

This effectively means that observational criteria are strictly monitored and therefore we as a training organisation need to make sure that you have everything in place to complete the qualification. All of our courses are inclusive of everything for the advertised cost, however, we do need to check if further observations are required by us as part of your course studies if you do not have sufficient resources internally to meet the requirements. If it is believed that further observations are required we will need to cover these costs. This is charged at £250 plus vat per day plus expenses to cover the tutors for the day.
